Singularity

For those that don’t know a Singularity is the mathematical representation of a black hole. It is also a game…a very, well, good game at that. the campaign can be described as Bioshock meets Timeshift. The story is very good, despite it being very confusing, because of that you have to follow the plot very carefully when you play. The thing about this game is that the ending makes you want to play the whole thing over again. But the downside to the story  is that its so complex at times that if you don’t follow what is going on then you just feel like your schlepping and feting for people. The thing I really liked about this game is that when you time travel you see the effect of what you do after you come back, and you know that you changed something. The story pulls you in and makes you want to find out what happens next.

The multi-player is really fun, and theres no other way to describe it….other than what happens when Battlefield Bad Co. 2 meets Unreal Tournament and Lost Planet, witch is a good thing. even though there are only two game types there both very good…and fun. There is one objective based game (extermination) and a straight forward TDM (Humans Vs. Creatures). I would recommend the first one.

Although this is a fun game it does have its flaws. This is a story we have seen before just packaged differently. Another problem is that multi player teams aren’t always stacked correctly.

suggestion: if your not going to play multi player then rent or borrow it if you are then it’s a buy
