In the wake of the past weekend and early week cloudiness and some scattered showers, we should see a drastic improvement for late week into the weekend. A sharp warming trend follows after Friday. A weak cold front is now moving through the area helping to sweep out the humidity and steer Hurricane Danielle out to sea. This front will feature a slight drop in temperatures. As we head into Friday and the weekend, a large area of high pressure builds near the area and this area of high pressure will eventually drift offshore. Once that happens, more heat and humidity will be tapped as we start early to mid next week with temperatures ranging from the low-mid 90s. High pressure features sinking air and leads to near total sunshine for long periods of time. Good for some areas, not so much for others. That’s all for this edition. See graphic below.
