Another week, another heatwave right? Well, it’s almost late-July now and we are still dealing with the high heat and humidity. We just can’t seem to get rid of this hot pattern. This week will turn out to be similar to last week in terms of weak storms rolling just north of the area and triggering some afternoon thunderstorms. Some of the storms could go severe, the main threat from these storms would be damaging winds and hail. The afternoons and evenings are likely to be stormy most of the days this week with the mornings being mostly sunny to partly cloudy. The first weak front passes through our area on Monday evening. Another weak storm system is poised to affect the region later in the week towards mid week. The temperatures will rise later in the week due to expansion of high pressure just to our south. Finally, another stronger storm system will affect the area late week. See graphical forecast below.
