We realize now that what we did was wrong. What it really comes down to is procrastination. A responsible student would have had the foresight to copy his friend’s test in the first place, but instead we waited until the last minute to secure our grades.

Our school system runs on extrinsic motivation; the reward is not the knowledge but the grade. Of course, our economic system is similar. It’s not about how well you do the work, but how well you get paid for it. Having learned from our mistakes, we look forward to a bright future of embezzlement and tax fraud.
