Break out your snow gear, you’ll need it!!! December 3rd, 2009.

An area of low pressure will form along the “old front” as it clears our area tomorrow. By the time this front gets offshore-a wee bit-it stalls. High pressure in the Caribbean also known as “The Great Southeast Ridge” will force this front to stall, positioning of this high pressure will ultimately help to determine the track of the wave of low pressure on the stationary front. This storm originates from the inter-mountain west(Colorado) as a weak system then once it dives southward into Texas due to the jet pattern it redevelops and gains strength then it rides near the coast up the “old front.” We should see at the very least a dusting to perhaps 3″ of snow with the cold air in place thanks to a more “southern” polar jet drilling in some arctic chill, and in combination with a decent sized storm.

This depiction can change of course… models slowly shifting this storm back west… 4″ or more not impossible… Stay tuned.

That was your weather advance update.

“Now serving snow on coastal storm 1″…
