Why is there inconsistency among weather forecasters?

Q: Why is there inconsistency among weather forecasters?

A: The inconsistencies among forecasters are due to many different factors; all model output used by forecasters have a certain degree of error. Forecasters can interpret the grids between cities incorrectly and some model resolutions are not very accurate. All forecasters can choose to use different model output and data from one another leading to some inconsistency. It is really up to the forecaster to decide which model to use and base observations and forecast from that model. Some models lack quality resolution and grid editing capabilities for certain points on a map. Models such as the GFS and ECMWF have inconsistencies as well. Forecasters also have different opinions as to which model has been accurately depicting the atmosphere leading to disagreement and inconsistency.
