Discussion:
Storm Alert! A slow moving storm emerging from the Gulf states is about to pounce on our area. This low pressure originated from the Gulf will track northeastwards and head up the western side of the Appalachians (sorry snow-lovers) as we head into Wednesday afternoon into Thursday. This storm combined with a roaring jet stream may produce thunderstorms that may be isolated and severe to our southeast. Locally heavy rain can be expected in some isolated thundershowers before the cold front passes. This cold front COULD potentially stall offshore just far enough yet close enough to produce some brief frozen precipitation for our area, i.e. snow. Stay tuned.
