Yao Ming status update

Yao Ming has just removed the cast off his foot, and is now wearing a plastic boot over the foot that he just had major surgery on. Yao has resumed light workouts and drills sitting in a chair, he is doing this to help keep himself in shape for the regular season and still keep practicing not with the team. Yao is expected to play in the 2010-11 season and miss all of next season as a precautionary measure… Yao has remained optimistic about his progress and recovery, but team doctors and GM Daryl Morey have taken neccessary precautionary measures to avoid reinjurying Yao.
