“If a cluttered desk signs a cluttered mind, of what, then, is an empty desk a sign?
—Albert Einstein
I don’t know about you, but I’d rather have a cluttered mind than an empty one. To me, cluttered is creative, filled with ideas, unrestrained. And in this column, I refuse to be restrained. I’ll write about my Swine-flu summer and a random game show riddle, then come back to talk about performance based pay for teachers. And besides, there’s no WAY I’m keeping my desk clean. No matter how much it bugs my parents, I just have to embrace my cluttered-ness.
