Monday’s Forecast:
Hi: 57 F
Lo:52 F
Winds E 5-10 mph
Synopsis:
For today, cloudy skies with light easterly winds. Temperatures will be below average today and on the cool side due to the cloud cover and moisture. The position of high pressure offshore and an area of low pressure to our south is allowing a moist flow and a easterly wind which increases cloud cover. A cold front will be passing overhead late tonight into tomorrow morning, but there is weak lift and lesser chance of rain showers overnight and tomorrow morning. It will clear out in the afternoon as another area of weak high pressure builds in for Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday afternoon.
Major coastal low to affect the area later this week… possibility of some snow flakes not out of the question for the big eastern cities if current model trends continue…Nonetheless, a cold steady rain for Thursday and Friday with 2″ of rain possible…Stay tuned…
