From Handsome Slapdashery, a column by Jon Dutko.
Hey, guys. I’m halfway done with my first review, but I wanted to throw this up here. The following video is that of a point-of-view helmet camera, documenting a skier causing, and subsequently getting rescued from, an avalanche. How freaking cool is that?
Be warned. The video is a trifle intense, and is probably not for the claustrophobic reader with a wild imagination.
Avalanche Skier POV Helmet Cam Burial & Rescue in Haines, Alaska from Chappy on Vimeo.
The point-of-view helmet cam struck me as an interesting piece of technology. I’d love to hear your thoughts about the video or the piece of tech itself; why not try our newly-installed Forum gadget?
Anyway, peace, guys.
