Wednesday Forecast
Hi: 67 F
Lo: 45 F
Mostly Cloudy conditions, winds W 5-10 mph

For today, mostly cloudy conditions with light winds. The reason it is a lot cloudier that I previously thought is that high pressure will be building in slower than depicted, but it will build in tomorrow and clear out the cloud cover, so we should have mostly sunny skies tomorrow and slightly warmer. The upper level low in Canada will also finally start to lift out and will help decrease cloud cover over the area, the further west and north you go, you will encounter more clouds. The next storm system is also intensifying and is just now east of the rockies where they have their first snow’s in some areas in higher elevations, still rain in lower elevations. This storm system will head eastbound on Friday evening through Saturday and the main upper low will race off into Canada bringing an associated cold front that will act as a lifting mechanism and trigger the showers late Friday evening into Saturday. For all those that may be going to the Taste of Bethesda bring an umbrella for Saturday morning.

Enjoy the sunny skies and slightly warmer conditions for the next 2 days. Chance of rain on Saturday is 70%. Next vigorous cold front that will usher in a cold blast will come around the second week of October.
